When is a user eligible for a refund?
When a user purchases one of our products on Itch.io, the user is eligible for a refund in one of the following scenarios:
The user is not eligible for a refund in one of the following scenarios:
- The user can not run the product on their device.
- Some other issue prevents the user from running the game on their device.
- The game does not accurately represent what was advertised on either SideQuest or Itch.io.
The user is not eligible for a refund in one of the following scenarios:
- The user does not like the game in any way.
- The date when the product was purchased is one week or more ago.
- The user has already refunded the game in the past.
When a refund is approved by the developer
When the user is eligible for a refund, the user must delete the game from every device the game is downloaded to and installed on.
The user will lose access to download the game on Itch.io.
The money will be refunded as soon as possible, this can take up to five working days.

When a refund is not approved by the developer
When the user is not eligible for a refund, the user will get informed on why the request has been disapproved.
